Hydechium or Ginger Lilly Essential oil Monograph

Ginger Lily is also known as  Hedychium and Kapoor Kachri and it is widely used in Ayurveda as well as in perfumery It is useful in treating nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, halitosis, hiccups. In Aromatherapy, promotes inner peace, calm and balance.

Ginger Lily is also great for rejuvenating the skin and soften hair.

Botanical Name: Hedychium spicatum

Method of Extraction: Steam distillation of the flowers and rhizomes

Color: Pale yellow

Aroma:  fresh, warm, spicy

Yield: up to 1%

Blends well with: Bergamot, Frankincense, Ginger, Jasmine, Orange Sweet, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood, Vanilla, YlangYlang, Lime and Neroli.

Therapeutic properties: Anti-bacterial, Anti-inflammatory,  Anti-spasmodic, Digestive, Anti-depressant, Sedative, Anti-nausea Carminative

HOW TO USE

To calm nerves, promote sleep burn 1-2 drops every 5 hours.

Add up to 0.5 % oil essential oil to face and hand creams
